Newport

Heute ging es 5 Stunden nach Westen Richtung Pazifik. War es bei der Abreise noch sehr warm, so hatten wir am Pazifik nur noch um die 10 Grad. Hier war wieder Pullover angesagt.

Today it was 5 hours west to the Pacific. If it was still very warm on departure, we only had around 50 Fahrenheit at the Pacific. Here again sweaters were announced.

Auf dem Weg zum Meer kamen wir an einer Stelle vorbei, die Kulisse von "The Walking dead" gewesen sein könnte.

On the way to the sea, we passed a place that could have been the backdrop of "The Walking Dead".

Am Meer gab es dann Bereiche auf der Strasse, wo man besser nicht durch fährt.

At the sea there were areas on the street, where you better not go through.

Zum Schluss erreichten wir dann Newport mit seinen Dünen.

Finally, we reached Newport with its dunes.
